The last miracle in our sermon series, Jesus on The Seashore.
Since I did not get one of those awesome inserts in my bulletin today, most if not all of the following will be own my random ramblings infused with copious amounts of A.D.D.
Miracles in scripture are not magic acts. They show us how "natural order" was supposed to be. We ruined that by sin. God uses those moments to make it right. It is always for the greater good, God's Plan. Remember though that most miracles that still happen today are not always what we want or expect.

We can live in the proximity of the truth but still be blind to it.
The bad fishers of fish, but excellent fishers of man, were gathered near the Sea of Galilee. It is believed that seven were gathered there, including Simon Peter. Now Peter had it rough so far and most of his problems were self-inflicted. He was feeling guilty of his own personal failure, but fullfillment of Christ's prophecy. So after three years of leaving the nets behind, Peter said that he wanted to go fishing...and the others followed. They fished and got nothing. Again and again they tried, and the nets still were empty. Jesus was on the shoreline and called out to them asking them if they had anything yet...almost in a jest it seemed. They of course had not, and Jesus instructed them to cast the net on the other side. And as Jesus knew, they could not haul the net in due to it being so plentiful with catch. John was the first to idenify Jesus on the shoreline, and even said something to Peter about it. Now seriously if I was in the shoes of Peter I would of felt pretty stupid right about now...
But Peter dove off the boat and headed toward Jesus...
Stop running away from Jesus, stop letting your ignorance of grace prevent your happiness and life.
Run toward Jesus no matter what...and then you will understand everything...
What matters most is that Jesus got it all right...so run back into arms of the Lord.
